Please join us at Kortright Centre for Conservation on June 22nd 2024 from 3pm-6pm! Come out and celebrate Indigenous People's Day and Indigenous History month at this gathering that has it all! Shop Indigenous vendors from near and far, enjoy live musical performances throughout by local Indigenous musicians, take part in a community smudge circle and place tobacco tie offerings in the Sacred Fire that will be onsite if you wish! Listen to traditional hand drumming, by all means bring your hand drum if you have one! There will also be crafts and nature based activities for the kids to enjoy as well! This event is FREE to attend and there is also plenty of free parking onsite as well. There will be a catered BBQ to enjoy onsite as well if you wish to purchase a bite to eat while enjoying the free festivities! Kortright is an accessible location as well, so please come out and enjoy the day with us.
We hope you will join us for what will be a fun-filled afternoon and evening! Tell your friends, family and colleagues about this amazing opportunity taking place right here, in York Region!
